Coach Buck started running later in life, running his first 5k in 2001 in hopes of losing some weight. Over the next 10 years, he racked up over 12 full marathons, 15 half marathons, 5 half-Iron distance and 3 full Iron-distance triathlons. Then kids came along and he slid back into some old, unhealthy habits. Now, at age 52, he’s back in a big way, thanks to a newfound love for trail running! Since getting into trail running a year ago, he’s finished three ultramarathons, with two more slated for 2022. His journey from fat-to-fit and unhealthy-to-ultramarthoner gives him a special appreciation for running and how it can change your life in more ways than one. So if you are looking to lose weight or learn more about trail running, the Buck stops with him.
